We offer various painting options with our cannons
However, we only use Enamel and/or Minwax Clear Gloss
Polyurethane.
We have found through our customers that this type of paint holds up
very well
under heavy use.
I clean the surface with Acetone first completely getting off all oil and other
residue.
Then as a special coating I use Rustoleum Hammer Finish Gloss Enamel.
I spray the Cannon at least twice using this paint. Then I let it
thoroughly dry for a day. Then I give a few more coats of
Minwax Clear Gloss Polyurethane.
This Painting Theme leaves the finish extremely bright, durable with
a deep rich luster.
Here are the results of this method of painting
This Finish Is Rustoleum Gold Hammered Gloss Enamel
Rustoleum Hammered Enamel Comes In a
Large Variety Of Colors
With all Paint, there is no guarantee that it won't chip primarily by
bumping the cannon on a hard surface.
We do not use Lacquer because it don't take the abuse,
heating,
cooling and shock of Enamel painted steel. Lacquer has
a bad
tendency to crack.
All painting features are
$150 for your cannon.
